Goblin Slayer Review

In this Golbin Slayer anime review, we are jumping right into the first episode. The anime immediately feels like a mix between Akame Ga Kill in terms of impact, underlying dark story, and similar to Overlord in regard to the art style and character design, case in point slayer and Momon when he is in his Adamantium form while engaging in guild missions. 

in this first episode, we get a feel everyone thinks of Slayer as lesser for only taking goblin quests and everyone assumes he is weak. This is quite the opposite as we often see this theme in anime where the viewer knows the protagonist is powerful, but others overlook them. We get to understand a quiet and hurt individual in his journey to complete his revenge and build his ideal future. Slayer is not only a badass name but it also a key factor that others identify him by. We also get to know why he is so obsessed with Goblin’s activities and the task of ending their lives.

In his daily travels and quests, he is cleaning up the mess that younger adventurers are leaving behind. Goblins are increasing their strength and gaining intelligence, but the majority of people aren’t aware or don’t really care. Slayer however devotes himself to preventing a goblin apocalypse and we get to see this story. A little background/spoiler Slayer had his whole family demolished in a terrible incident, which is traumatizing.  

If you aren’t convinced yet, the music in this is anime is fire as well. Some head Slammin metal. It is tough not to spoil the entirety of this anime, but hey you’ll watch it one night anyway so no hard feelings.
